Rehab & Training

Clinical Pilates

Pilates led by physiotherapists, prescribed like medicine. We use controlled, precise movement to rebuild your core, correct posture and bulletproof your back — whether you're recovering from injury or simply want to move better for life.

What we treat

Core strength, posture and resilient backs

Most back pain and postural problems come down to a core that doesn't do its job. Clinical Pilates retrains deep stabilising muscles with exact technique — supervised, progressed and adapted to your body.

  • Weak core and recurring back pain — rebuilding the deep stabilisers that protect your spine.
  • Postural imbalance — rounded shoulders, forward head and desk-worker posture patterns.
  • Post-injury return to exercise — a safe bridge between rehab and full training.
  • Pre and post-natal core rebuilding — restoring abdominal and pelvic floor control safely.
  • Stiffness from sedentary life — controlled mobility for people who sit all day.
  • Athletic movement control — trunk stability and body awareness that transfers to sport.
Your treatment

What a session involves

Every plan follows the ART method — Alignment to find the cause, Rehab to treat it, Training to make it last.

Assess your movement

We screen posture, core activation and flexibility to find your weak links before prescribing a single exercise.

Build the foundation

Precise, low-load activation of deep core muscles — breathing, pelvic control and spinal alignment done right.

Progress the sequences

Graduated Pilates sequences that challenge strength, balance and coordination as your control improves.

Carry it into life

We translate your new strength into real movement — lifting, sitting, running and sport without pain.

Is this for you

Who it’s for

Clinical Pilates suits almost every body — because every session is adapted to your assessment, not a one-size class.

  • Desk workers with back pain and collapsing posture.
  • Anyone finishing physio who wants a safe way back to exercise.
  • New mothers rebuilding core strength after delivery.
  • Athletes who need trunk stability for their sport.
  • Beginners intimidated by gyms but serious about getting strong.

Clinical Pilates is not a group fitness class. Every exercise is prescribed from your physiotherapy assessment and supervised for technique — that's what makes it rehab, not just a workout.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any Pilates experience?

None at all. We start from your current level — many of our patients have never exercised formally, and the programme is built around you.

How is this different from regular Pilates classes?

Regular classes follow a set routine. Clinical Pilates starts with a physiotherapy assessment, and every exercise is chosen and supervised for your specific condition and goals.

Will it help my back pain?

For most mechanical back pain, yes — by restoring the core stability and movement patterns that keep the spine protected. We'll tell you honestly at assessment if something else is needed first.

How often should I attend?

Most patients start with 2 sessions a week for 4–6 weeks, then taper as they gain independence. We'll give you a home routine from the first week.
